Peer Specialist Training

Changing Tides partnered with Project Return Peer Support Network to offer a Peer Specialist Training Program. This training covered topics such as Trauma Informed Care, Mental Health First Aid, Motivational Interviewing, and Suicide Prevention and was intended for individuals with intent to volunteer or work in the mental health/social services field.

The online 10 week program consisted of 60 hours of classroom Zoom training and a 64 hour online internship.
